> A new clerk and a new register layout: numbered entries, village heading first, a Latin-influenced hand, and far shorter entries. The change in hand is abrupt and makes everything from this leaf forward materially easier to read. > > August Wasmann is the fifth adult male Wasmann head-name and the only one bearing that forename. The child takes his name. > > Tuchtfeld again, nine years after Herman Wasman’s daughter was baptized there.
