Translation
No. 22. On 27 [August?] [1732]: Johann Henrich. Father J. H. Jesemann. Mother Dorothea L[ü/in]demann. Godparents: 1. Herr Arend[?] Weiß[?]; 2. Georg Henr[ich] K[a]yser[?]; 3. Herr K[a]yser[?] […]; 4. […], wife of […].
Notes
- Father's surname: Jesemann. The capital is J and e written together, the same J this scribe uses in "Joh:" and "J. It was first read as a W, giving W[e]semann. Paul found the same name written by an earlier scribe.
- Month: Aug[ust] fits best; May or March remain possible. A small cross stands beside the child's name.
- Godparents 2 and 3 share a surname read K[a]yser[?]; not secured.
- Withdrawn as a candidate baptism for the Linse miller: the family is Jesemann, not Wesemann. Not a Wesemann entry. Moved to Appendix C with the rest of the Salzderhelden Jesemann family (Decided, Paul, 10 October 2026).
Conventions: text in square brackets is editorial. [?] marks an uncertain reading, […] an illegible or unread word. Spelling, abbreviation and capitalization follow the original.
Transcribed 9 October 2026; surname revised 10 October 2026. Readings in brackets are drafts to be confirmed on the original before they are cited as stated.
