Notes
The groom's forenames, his village (Linse) and the bride's village (Tuchtfeld) are clear; the bride's surname and her father are not read. PROBABLE that this is the second marriage of Franz Heinrich Brand (baptized 1705), whose first wife Ilse Margaretha Knüll was buried 11 March 1731: same forenames and village, six months after the death. PROBABLE that the bride is the mother of the daughter baptized to Franz Brand on 29 June 1732 (nine months after the wedding; one of its godmothers, Ilse Maria Holzers, was of Tuchtfeld) and of his sons of 1736–1743, and so of Christoph Brand (born about May 1732): George's 2x great-grandmother (PROBABLE). Which baptism is Christoph's is not decided by this entry (B3.5b, B3.5a-4). Grade: STATED (the entry); the identifications PROBABLE.
