Line 1 above ('Slowey [?] Maggie, niece', family 169) belongs to the preceding household.

Transcriber's Notes
Line 2 surname written 'Knoll' with a gap ('K noll'); no middle initial.
John's birth year read as 1826 (final digit slightly unclear, possibly 1827); age 73; marital status 'Wd' (widowed).
John: immigration 1848, 52 years in U.S. – fairly clear. Rosalia: 1884, 16 years.
Line 3 surname read 'Galler' (initial could be G or J); given name 'Rosalia' clear; relation 'boarder'; occupation 'housekeeper'.
Right-margin annotation '7 / 4 / 186..' beside line 2 appears to be a later handwritten addition; partially cut off.
Home ownership columns for line 2 read 'O', 'F', 'H' (re-checked at 600 dpi 2026-09-27).
Supervisor's district entry reads '1st Penna' (hard to read; could be '1 S Penna' or '12 Penna').
Literacy columns (can read / write / speak English) are written as cramped squiggles on both lines; best reading 'yes' in each (the third entry on line 2 looks like '75' but is probably 'yes').
