English translation
16 April 1754, at 6 in the evening, Johann Jacob Gugler died; he was buried on the 18th. — 19 October 1756: Anna Helena, little daughter of Johann Jacob Gugler, died of convulsions and was buried two days later, aged 3 years 7 months. (The Sautter entry of 3 April 1754 is F241's, already transcribed.)
Notes
The 1754 entry gives no age, origin, wife or trade. Anna Helena's age fits the birth of 23 March 1753 on her sister's sheet. Her father is named without "weiland" two years after the 1754 burial: a clerk naming the family, or a second Johann Jacob Gugler (open). Grade: PROVEN for the 1754 burial as written, PROBABLE that he is Rosina's father;
Conventions: [ ] editorial addition or expansion; [?] uncertain reading; […] or [...] illegible or outside the crop; [sic] as written. Readings marked draft are from screen-resolution images. Chapters 4–12 research, Wesemann family history.
