3. Bild 17, Entry 11 — Baptism
CORRECTED — the earlier draft dated this entry to 15 August 1845 and read the father's surname as “Dornoff/Vornoff”, flagged as unreconciled with a supposed sibling entry. Both points are resolved: 1845 is the mother's birth year, not the entry's date, and Dornoff is confirmed as the father's correct surname (not a variant of Vorwerk).

Correction, 12 October 2026: the surname read Dornoff is probably Vorwohle. The 1871 marriage of the couple (Bild 35, no. 3) shows a capital V (not this clerk's D), then o, r, w, o, h, l, e.
